Baneblade tank rumbles forward!

OK, I have told you this before. Every once in a while we escape from reality and digress from historical gaming into science fiction. So last Sunday the gang got together to put together a Warhammer 40,00 Apocalypse game and for the first time in 13 months we had an opportunity to pull our super-heavy Baneblade tank out of the garage, load her up on the transporter and send her into action against the infidels. And here she is! Rumbling into action! The earth shakes, and the enemy shakes with fear! Stay tuned to this channel and we will show you more of the action in the coming days!

How'd you do the orange background?
Cardstock or Photoshop?

The photo was edited using The GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/), similar to Photoshop. The background layer was made using Terragen (http://www.planetside.co.uk/) which is a neat program that generates digital landscapes.

Thanks for the compliment MCT. My son and I worked on it together and we were pleased with the results. We got the idea for the camo pattern from the Flames of War Mediterranean Theater book. There is a photo of a WWII Italian tank destroyer with that pattern. We decided to use it because it was different than what you usually see. We used the Vallejo colors recommended by the book using a wet GW Tank Brush. This Baneblade is a GW/Citadel kit, not Forgeworld. We had a lot of fun assembling and painting it. It is a well-designed model kit.
